Appointment of 10 thousand doctors before the election


Rajshahi: 10 thousand doctors will be appointed before the upcoming national election, Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said.

The minister said this while talking to the doctors of Rajshahi Medical College (RAMEC) Hospital on Tuesday (9th October) at noon. The meeting was held in the hospital hall.

The Health Minister said, today we are going to provide health care in all areas of Bangladesh. Earlier there was a nurse crisis. Over the last few years, we have appointed 10 to 15 thousand nurses. At the upazila level there are some medical problems. We will be able to appoint 10 thousand doctors before the next national election. We will solve the problem by completing this appointment.

She said about 16,000 community clinics in Bangladesh are underway. Thousands of models have been clinic. There is a surety of poor people in healthcare. We've done it. We have ensured healthcare of 10 lakh Rohingyas. We gave polio to their children, vaccinated. It's not a big deal. Health care of the country has now become a model.

The minister gave various promises for the development of the hospital, urging doctors to work with the mentality of service. In this announcement, to upgrade the four-storey building of a hospital to the 10th floor.

He also announced that he would give an ambulance to the Ramayk Hospital unit of the Chandi Hospital. He went to Dhaka to bring the ambulance to the target audience.

Among others, State Minister for Information and Communication Junaid Ahmed Palak and Rajshahi City Corporation Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton spoke on the occasion.
